Marin Shin

Marin Shin is an undergraduate student at Eikei University of Hiroshima, majoring in Social System Design, a program that emphasizes practical learning and collaborative problem-solving to address real-world social challenges. Her academic focus is centered on the changing nature of work in Japan, with particular attention to gender gaps and diversity, equity, and inclusion (DE&I).Alongside her academic work, she is deeply interested in exploring how men and women experience work differently in Japanese society, especially within the context of the startup ecosystem. She is also actively expanding her knowledge of the startup industry and developing her skills in writing and cross-cultural communication.
