About the Event
Asia New Travel Bootcamp (ANTB) is a conference connecting travel and tourism startups from across Asia with tourism businesses and ecosystem players in Japan.
Launched in Okinawa in 2024, ANTB will be held outside Okinawa for the first time in 2026, bringing the event to Fukuoka. The event focuses on new opportunities in tourism, with this year's program exploring the potential of well-being tourism and how tourism businesses can create new value beyond conventional inbound travel.
The 2025 edition at Okinawa Institute of Science and Technology (OIST) brought together 206 participants from eight countries, with 23 startups pitching to 129 tourism operators.
The Fukuoka edition will feature four programs, including Frontline of Wellness Travel, Asia Pivot Pitch, From the Local, and a networking session. Six travel-tech startups will present their businesses during the pitch session.
Why Attend
For startups, the event offers an opportunity to connect with Japanese tourism operators, hotels, DMOs, investors, and other local ecosystem players, particularly those interested in adopting new technologies and business models.
For investors and corporations, the Asia Pivot Pitch provides a chance to discover emerging travel-tech startups from Japan and overseas. The six participating startups will pitch in English, with judges including professionals from hotels and ryokan, venture capital, and DMOs.
For international participants, ANTB provides a focused entry point into the Fukuoka and Kyushu tourism ecosystem, while connecting with startups and businesses from across Asia. The event is conducted in English, with Japanese subtitles and translation support available for attendees.
Fee
Paid. Ticket prices are listed on the official registration page. Admission includes the three main sessions and on-site networking. The Founders Lounge at The Ritz-Carlton Fukuoka is a separate event with separate registration and fees.

Advance registration is required. The event has a capacity of 150 participants, and ticket sales are scheduled to close on October 6, 2026, at 11:59 PM JST, subject to availability.
