About the Event

DIG SHIBUYA 2027 is a three-day urban festival exploring the intersection of art, technology, and city life. Co-hosted by Shibuya City and the SHIBUYA CREATIVE TECH Committee, the event transforms public spaces across Shibuya into venues for immersive installations, performances, and interactive experiences.

The 2027 edition adopts the theme of "Urban Living Lab," positioning Shibuya as a real-world testing ground where artists, entrepreneurs, local businesses, residents, and visitors can experiment with new ways of connecting people, technology, and urban spaces. The festival will also feature projects selected through its Co-Creation Project, an open call supporting original initiatives in technology, art, and culture.

Why Attend?

  • Experience interactive art and technology installations across Shibuya.
  • Explore how AI, creative technology, and urban innovation are shaping future cities.
  • Meet artists, startups, entrepreneurs, and creative technologists.
  • Discover experimental projects developed specifically for Shibuya's public spaces.
