JETRO, in partnership with Jason Calacanis, a prominent US angel investor, is set to launch a new course for its overseas entrepreneur development programme "J-StarX" in collaboration with LAUNCH.
This course will leverage Mr Calacanis' extensive experience and insights to deliver a programme targeting both entrepreneurs and angel investors. Alongside developing entrepreneurs with a global perspective, it aims to advance Japan's angel investment ecosystem by providing practical training for investors.
Jason Calacanis is a highly influential investor within Silicon Valley's angel investment community, known for early-stage investments in numerous prominent startups including Uber, Robinhood, and Thumbtack.
An introductory event will be held in Japan on Friday, 14th November. Jason Calacanis will be visiting Japan and is scheduled to outline the course details.
