GLOBAL STARTUP EXPO 2026

Co-hosted with Japan's Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) and organized by the Osaka Startup Ecosystem Consortium (Osaka Chamber of Commerce and Industry Foundation), Global Startup EXPO 2026 is a world-class international deep-tech event.

Building on the success of Global Startup EXPO 2025 held at the Osaka-Kansai Expo site, GSE2026 expands into a three-day event across the Umekita and Nakanoshima areas of Osaka. It brings together startups, investors, corporations, universities, and government stakeholders from Japan and around the world. The event expects around 150 exhibiting startups and roughly 10,000 attendees globally.

• Day 1: Monday, October 5 (13:00 – 19:00)
  • Focus: Opening & Life Science Day
  • Location: Nakanoshima area
  • Venues:
    • Congress Square Osaka Nakanoshima: Reception, sessions, and exhibits
    • Nakanoshima Cross: Business meeting space
• Days 2 & 3: Tuesday, October 6 (9:00 – 18:00) & Wednesday, October 7 (10:00 – 17:30)
  • Focus: Main Expo Days
  • Location: Umekita area

    • Grand Front Osaka North Building 1F Knowledge Plaza: General reception and international pavilion exhibits
    • Knowledge Capital Congrès Convention Center: Sessions, startup exhibits, and business meetings
    • Congress Square Grand Green Osaka: Sessions, startup exhibits, and business meetings
    • Grand Front Osaka North Building B1F Event Lab: Additional startup exhibits
    • Grand Front Osaka North Building 4F Knowledge Theater: Pitch contest venue

Registration Information:

GSE2026 is a paid, ticket-only event. All prices include tax, and all ticket types are valid for the full event period (October 5–7, 2026).

• Ticket Types
  • Executive Pass (150,000 yen): Aimed at VIPs and executive-level attendees (Not eligible for early-bird pricing).
  • Business Pass (80,000 yen): Aimed at investors and business companies.
  • General Pass (20,000 yen): Aimed at startups (domestic and international) and general participants.

  • Refund Policy: Refunds and cancellations after payment are generally not permitted, except in cases of event cancellation due to organizer circumstances or natural disasters.
