Hokkaido-based deeptech startup creation program NEXUS:S DemoDay will be held online on Monday, February 16th.
NEXUS:S is a program that aims to found deep tech startups by matching research seeds with management talent. DemoDay sees eight teams formed through the program—and have undergone extensive commercialization testing—take to the stage.
The team, made up of researchers and management personnel, has been conducting research and testing for approximately 10 months since May 2025 through an incubation program with the aim of implementing the seeds in society.
Eight teams that have already started or are planning to start businesses based on attractive seeds such as agriculture, robotics, drones, medical equipment, and materials will be on stage.
In collaboration with HSFC, a platform for creating university-based R&D startups, this program aims to found deep tech startups by matching research seeds from universities in Hokkaido with management talent.
(This project is being carried out by Hokkaido Co-creation Partners, which was selected by NEDO for its 2024 "Support Project for Securing Managerial Talent in University-Based Startups (MPM).")
