Fukuoka Prefecture and Plug and Play Japan have announced the launch of the Fukuoka-Bangkok Startup Exchange Program. This initiative, commissioned by the Global Connect Fukuoka Network, aims to accelerate business matching between Thai startups and local companies in Fukuoka, leveraging the 20-year friendship between Fukuoka Prefecture and the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration.

As a core part of the program, a pitch event titled GLOBAL CONNECT SPARK DAY will be held next week on February 5th at Venture Café Fukuoka. Nine selected Thai startups from sectors such as XR, Healthcare AI, Manufacturing DX, and Sustainability will present their technologies to financial institutions, investors, and potential business partners in Fukuoka.
