Investment in Asian AI companies hits two-year high

Investment in AI in the latest July-September 2025 quarter reached $4.1 billion (approximately ¥620 billion). This marks the largest quarterly figure over the past two years.

Reported by US-based startup watchdog Crunchbase, the surge stems from a wave of investments in AI startups across China and other regions. Some surveys indicate that AI companies account for about 30% of investment in Chinese startups.
