Japan Innovation Network (JIN) has joined the TCI Network, a Barcelona-based global organization focused on advancing innovation clusters and ecosystems. Through this partnership, JIN will serve as a key hub for TCI’s Asia Chapter, strengthening collaboration across regional innovation stakeholders.

As global competition intensifies, innovation is increasingly driven by interconnected ecosystems rather than individual organizations. At the center of this shift are “clusters”—geographic concentrations of companies, research institutions, and service providers that enhance competitiveness through collaboration and knowledge exchange.

By combining JIN’s expertise in innovation management, including ISO 56000 frameworks, with TCI Network’s global cluster platform, the partnership aims to accelerate cross-border innovation ecosystems across Asia.

Key initiatives include strengthening regional networks, promoting collaboration among governments, corporations, and academia, and expanding knowledge-sharing through conferences and training programs. The two organizations also plan to jointly develop methodologies for ecosystem and cluster development, positioning Asia as a more connected and globally integrated innovation region.
