Rohto Pharmaceutical announced that it will launch an AI-enabled wearable medical device for managing overactive bladder symptoms in the Chinese market starting June 2026. The non-invasive smart patch device uses neuromodulation technology to support normal bladder function and was developed through a partnership with Australis Scientific, a Harvard Innovation Lab-backed healthtech venture that Rohto invested in during 2023. The device received NMPA Class II medical device registration approval in China in December 2025 and represents Rohto's first global expansion in medical technology.
