
Remohab is a medical device startup from Osaka University, working on the development of a remote cardiac rehabilitation system. As the first company in the Japan Bio design Program, its participation in Air Water Group is the first M&A exit case in Japan in the DTx (Digital Therapeutics) field. In 2024, its completed Japan’s first physician-initiated Phase III clinical trial for a remote cardiac rehabilitation system, and on June 23, 2025, its product “Remohab CR U” received approval from the Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices Agency (PMDA). Remohab aims to launch the product in Japan first and promote its nationwide adoption with future global expansion in mind.

We are an Osaka University spin-out drug discovery startup, co-developing a novel cancer immunotherapy with Osaka University. Our proprietary platform, HVJ-E/IM-0101, converts neutrophils into the anti-tumor N1 phenotype and, through local administration, remodels the systemic tumor microenvironment (TME) toward an anti-tumor state. This enables activation of neutrophils—the most abundant immune cell type—previously difficult to harness with existing approaches. Building on accumulated clinical safety data of IM-0101 and tumor immune amplification via CXCL2 gene delivery, we plan to expand to IM-0102 for lung cancer over the next few years.

Drug development for neurodegenerative diseases.
