Solution

One of the challenges of the early detection of dementia is the lack of a simple screening method to detect cognitive impairment. A simple non-invasive screening test, when established, will greatly motivate patients to receive the test and thus bring the full benefits of early diagnosis. Eye tracking-based cognitive assessment (ETCA) is a method with scientific and medical foundation that is accessible to everyone, enabling patients to make the best of early diagnosis. The assessment uses data obtained from biological movements, namely of the eyes, toward images or videos, such as the percentage of fixation duration on the correct images, percentage of successful gaze detection, and gaze plot statistics and graphs. This innovative method enables the non-invasive, simple, objective, and quantitative determination of cognitive functions. Users simply look at the monitor screen and follow the instruction displayed to obtain their cognitive assessment.
