Kikkoman Opens Third US Factory in Wisconsin, Strengthens Soy Sauce Production System in North America

Kikkoman Foods Inc. held a grand opening ceremony on September 18 for its third factory in Jefferson, Wisconsin. Construction began in April 2024, with soy sauce fermentation starting in May 2026 and shipments planned to begin in October. This is the company's third facility in the United States, following the Walworth headquarters factory (1973) and the Folsom, California factory (1998), and the ninth soy sauce production facility overseas. The company plans approximately 800 million yen in investment over 10 years and will strengthen supply stability through diverse product production to meet growing North American soy sauce demand. Kikkoman aims to make soy sauce a global standard condiment under its "Global Vision 2030."
