We sell ceramic filter columns for the purification and high-purity refinement of fine chemicals, including pharmaceuticals. Our columns are used from chemical and pharmaceutical research through to manufacturing, delivering approximately five times the separation performance of conventional products to improve target-compound purity. They are reusable, enabling significant cost reduction, and can be deployed immediately by simply replacing existing disposable cartridges on current equipment. From Kyoto, we provide high-performance, environmentally responsible, and cost-effective purification technology to customers worldwide.

The heart is an organ upon which life itself depends. With a commitment to providing new treatment options for heart failure and saving many lives, iHeart Japan is developing regenerative medicine products using iPS cells. Our product, IHJ-301, combines cells derived from iPS cells, including cardiomyocytes and endothelial cells, with a biomaterial, enabling long-term survival following implantation onto the heart and is expected to deliver strong therapeutic efficacy. Going forward, we plan to commercialize this product in Japan and internationally, with the aim of realizing a society in which patients can be saved without heart transplantation.

Tellme's original business was operating hair salons. Over years of observing changes in their clientele, and as a service for customers who could no longer visit the salon due to illness or aging, the company developed a technology to assess the risk of glycation (a measure of aging) through hair analysis. This technology is currently being promoted as a diabetes screening technology. After being featured at the World Expo, it gained significant attention from overseas countries and institutions for its ability to assess risk without the need for blood sampling. In Japan, the technology is also seen as contributing to behavioral change among the segment of the population indifferent to their own health (kenko mukanshinsō) within local municipalities. Tellme is now pursuing the commercialization of this service as a means of optimizing social security costs.

NUProtein develops next-generation protein and bioactive compound production technologies using genetically engineered rice. By cultivating high-expression rice and extracting target components directly from the grain, the company achieves exceptionally low-cost and stable production compared with conventional methods. NUProtein is also recognized as one of the world’s five industrial players in cell-free protein synthesis and gene-related patents. Through low-cost growth factors and other functional proteins, the company is building a new supply chain for the cultivated meat and broader food-tech sectors.
