A startup from Osaka University addressing the limitations of subjective pain assessment, which cannot capture pain accurately, by enabling objective pain evaluation through proprietary AI. By applying big data analytics and AI to EEG data and converting human pain into a 0–100 scale, we are developing and implementing a system that can measure pain in real time and continuously without directly questioning patients.

On March 2, 2022, Serendix completed Japan’s first 3D-printed house in just 23 hours and 12 minutes. In September 2024, the company built the first unit of the “serendix50,” a home designed for two-person households, in Suzu City, Ishikawa Prefecture. Also in 2024, Serendix began constructing reconstruction housing in Ukraine as part of the “Japan-Ukraine Economic Reconstruction Promotion Conference.” In addition to housing, Serendix is expanding into other areas, including a project in partnership with the JR West Group to build the world’s first 3D-printed train station.
