A Kyoto-based startup has developed the world's first cell therapy enabling nerve regeneration using ES/iPS cell-derived Schwann cells. This breakthrough enables large-scale production of cells previously difficult to mass-produce, paving the way for clinical trials.

Leveraging unique technology for creating novel microalgae strains from the environment, we provide microalgae strains useful for industrial and academic applications. Additionally, we offer; 1: consultation on microalgae business plans and experimental designs, 2: guidance on microalgae cultivation techniques, and 3: evaluation of microalgae strains based on growth rate and produced substances. We collaborate with diverse companies—spanning aquaculture, food, semiconductors, chemical materials, pet supplies, and rare metal recovery—as well as universities and research institutions to create new industries that address global challenges.

At Beef Sommelier, we provide our B-som Diagnosis with the aim of creating a world where producers can raise their ideal cattle and consumers can enjoy beef that truly matches their preferences. Our technology not only quantifies biological information from beef cattle, but also supports producers in achieving their target meat quality. By introducing a new scientific perspective that goes beyond conventional standards, we make the “unseen qualities” of beef visible and measurable. This enables consumers to clearly understand the characteristics of the beef they choose. B-som is the world’s first scientific diagnostic service that bridges the gap between producers and consumers.
