On April 14th the City of Sendai opens YUINOS, a facility to support startup development and R&D.
Located on the first through fourth floors of the Urbannet Sendai Chuo Building, this new facility will offer a co-working space, shared offices, and the city's Startup Support Center. It also includes an analysis center for companies using the next-generation synchrotron radiation facility at Tohoku University's Aobayama Campus. A café and event space occupies the the first floor.
The main concept of the facility is to foster innovation through clustering startups under one roof. Access is available for 22,000 yen per month or 1,100 yen per day. Fees for shared office space start at 66,000 yen per month.
